anointing of the sick Mass
"Is anyone among you sick? He should summon the presbyters of the church, and they should pray over him and anoint (him) with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will save the sick person, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed any sins, he will be forgiven."

You are invited to celebrate with us the Mass of the Anointing of the Sick. Father Nick and the Liturgy Committee of St. Gregory the Great would like to invite all parishioners to celebrate a very special Mass to ask for God's healing for our body and soul.
Anyone can receive this sacrament as it is a sacrament of healing. We especially encourage the elderly, whether you are ill or not, or even if you have previously received this sacrament and those of all ages seeking God's healing grace to join us.
If you wish to attend but need assistance or transportation, please contact the Parish Office at 858-653-3540 to make arrangements for assistance. Our own Helping Hands Ministry is also available to provide travel for the event. Click here for contact information.
A reception hosted by the Saint Gregory the Great Cooking Group will immediately follow in the parish hall.
