A Nativity Story: Live it!

Saint Gregory the Great Middle School Students cordially invite you to begin your holiday season with a joyful interpretation of the nativity in our annual Christmas Play.

Friday   •   December 14, 2018   •   7:00 pm

For the 18th consecutive year, the middle school youth of Saint Gregory the Great will present their gift to the parish, and the entire Scripps Ranch Community, to help us all to prepare for the celebration of Christmas in a way that places focus on the true meaning of this wonderful season.

Students from our parish school and faith formation programs, have been rehearsing since September to perform this timeless story based on an original script that was written right here in our parish.

Between scenes there will be opportunity to sing traditional Christmas carols, so you can not only take in the show, but also be part of the action.
This is  your opportunity to put the malls and rush of the holiday shopping season on hold for an evening and renew your spirit so as to be ready for the real meaning of Christmas.  The performance is free, but according to many who have attended in past years, the experience is priceless.

We hope you will join  us for this special evening, and bring friends and family as this event is open to anyone who wishes to attend.

Holiday Reception

Please join us in the parish hall for a holiday reception immediately following the performance.  Delicious refreshments and good fellowship are anticipated, as well as an opportunity to congratulate all our talented young thespians.

If you would like to participate with baking cookies or volunteering, please contact Ginger Marlin at 858-653-3540 or ginger@stgg.org.
