Regretfully, the Fish Fry dinners will be cancelled until further notice due to safety concerns over the spread of COVID-19 (Corona Virus).  We will monitor the ongoing situation and follow the advice and guidance of federal and state officials and health agencies, as well as adhere to the direction from our own Most Reverend Bishop Robert W. McElroy, Bishop of San Diego.  May God bless us all.

Fish Fry

"Go, eat your bread with joy and drink your wine with a merry heart, because it is now that God favors your works."

Ecclesiastes 9:7

Fridays     •     February 28, 2020 - April 3, 2020     •     5:30pm - 7:00pm

Saint Gregory the Great's Knights of Columbus have a long standing tradition of hosting a fried fish dinner every Friday during Lent.  The goal is to bring the community, and the whole neighborhood, together during Lent.  With volunteers both young and mature, the event has grown beyond all expectations and has become an event that is looked forward to by all.  The menu consists of deep fried cod or baked/blackened tilapia (tortillas available for tacos), fries, coleslaw, grilled cheese sandwiches, and dessert (including occasional surprise items).

The Fish Fry dinners have remained both family and pocketbook friendly at just $5.00 per person or $20.00 per family.
