All Souls Day
We believe that the souls of all who die in Christ’s grace... are the People of God beyond death. On the day of resurrection, death will be definitively conquered, when these souls will be reunited with their bodies”

Commemoration of the Faithful Departed • Saturday, November 2, 2019 • Mass 10:00am
The Feast of All Souls is a celebration for our departed brothers and sisters who at death may not have been cleansed from all their sins and are still undergoing the process of purification. (This process is also known as Purgatory.) Once all attachment to sin has been removed, and moral perfection is attained, these souls will enjoy the beatific vision in heaven. We can help these souls achieve purification by prayer and by the sacrifice of the Mass. All Souls Day differs from All Saints Day in that All Saints are already in heaven.
Please join us for the Mass as we remember those from Saint Gregory the Great Parish who have gone to their final rest since last year's All Souls' commemoration. A reception will follow in the Parish Hall.
