Thanksgiving Vigil Mass

"In all circumstances give thanks, for this is the will of God for you in Christ Jesus."

1 Thessalonians 5:18

Mass:  Wednesday, November 22, 2017 at 7:00pm

Our parish has a wonderful Thanksgiving tradition of blessing and distributing small loaves of bread at our Thanksgiving Eve Mass.  Please consider bringing a loaf of bread, home-made or store-bought, so that we may continue the warm and wonderful gift of giving bread at the end of Mass.  Breads, such as zucchini, pumpkin, etc., would be greatly appreciated.  (Please no white bread.

If you are able to help, please bring individually wrapped loaves of bread to Mass for distribution.  If you would like to help carry out this marvelous tradition and cannot attend Mass that evening, please bring them to the Parish Office during the day Tuesday or Wednesday by noon before Thanksgiving.

For more information, please contact Cheryl Magner at 858-271-7250 or ccmagner@gmail.com

Thank you!

Thanksgiving Collection to Benefit Fr. Joe's Villages

Fr. Joe’s Villages is the cornerstone of San Diego’s fight to prevent and end homelessness one life at a time.   As a one-stop center to address all of the rehabilitative needs of the homeless, Fr. Joe’s Villages offers an array of housing and supportive services:

In giving thanks to our Father in Heaven for all the blessings He has sent our parish family, our Thanksgiving Day Collection will be donated to benefit Fr. Joe’s Villages in their ongoing ministry to help eradicate homelessness in San Diego.

If you will be traveling out of San Diego to visit family for the holiday, please consider making your Thanksgiving donation early with a notation that it is for Fr. Joe’s Villages. Spare envelopes are available in the back of the Church.
