Daily Readings, Daily Meditation, & Saint of the Day
"For I was hungry and you gave me food, I was thirsty and you gave me drink, a stranger and you welcomed me, naked and you clothed me, ill and you cared for me, in prison and you visited me."
Matthew 25: 35-36
This Ministry is made up of caring stewards who provide spiritual support to the sick and homebound members of Saint Gregory the Great. In addition to weekly communion and prayers, the visits allow our parish community to reach out in the name of Christ and bring His healing and merciful love to those unable to participate fully in parish life.
Do you know a parishioner who is unable to join us at Mass? The Communion to the Homebound Ministry is honored to bring the Eucharist to fellow parishioners on Sunday when they can't attend our liturgical celebration. We serve as a bridge in our parish family to make sure all are included; no one is forgotten as we are all one family.
If you are interested in serving in this ministry, or if you know of someone who could be served, please send us your contact information and someone will be in touch with you.
