“And it happened that, while He was with them at table, He took bread, said the blessing, broke it, and gave it to them. With that their eyes were opened and they recognized Him…”
Luke 24:30-31

The Divine Dining ministry provides an opportunity for Saint Gregory the Great parishioners to get to know one another better by gathering in small groups to share dinner together. The purpose is to facilitate friendship, camaraderie, and support of our parish. Groups typically meet four times over a several-month period. After four dinners, new dining groups are formed with interested parishioners, to allow an opportunity to meet other parishioners.

Dining In vs. Dining Out

Based on parishioner feedback, we have two options this year, Dining In and Dining Out:

The Dining In groups meet in a parishioner’s home, the host provides the main meal, someone brings a salad, another an appetizer, and another a dessert.  The host typically provides beverages.  The host is rotated each time so that each person or couple hosts once and provides each course of one meal.

Dining Out groups will meet at a restaurant of their choice for each dinner.
